Old Brewhouse
High class craftsmanship in construction
Work carried out
Originally, this space was a very run-down empty room that served as a storage room. It is now a beautiful meeting room with space for 150 people.
The walls were previously tiled, but we removed that and sandblasted the walls. The original walls in old bricks became beautiful and add character. The interior ceiling was insulated, boarded and plasterboard was installed in two layers (according to the fire protection documentation). The many holes in the floor were repaired and it got a smooth surface. Last but not least, the floor was treated with a durable varnish. Simple kitchen was installed, two toilets and HCP toilet were installed. All electricity, plumbing and ventilation installations were redone and a massive ventilation unit was connected.
A mezzanine level was built, new windows were installed and partition wall including large transom window was installed. A wheelchair ramp was also installed as well as escape stairs. Here we were responsible for the entire project, from procurement, contacts with SKV, the municipality, designers, contractors and fire protection engineers
